Alessandra Mariani

Alessandra Mariani is Chief Marketing Officer at A-Life, a global high-end preventive health clinic, and co-founder of @bookclubproibito, an independent offline community in Milan. She spent six years at TikTok, first as Head of Brand Strategy for Southern Europe, building the function across Italy and Spain, and later as Global Marketing Lead for the Music vertical across 15 markets. A founding member and five-time elected president of Women@TikTok, the company’s Employee Resource Group (ERG), she helped grow the community to more than 2,000 members across 13 offices. She began her career at WPP agencies J. Walter Thompson and Landor & Fitch. In 2025, she was named one of Fortune Italia’s Most Powerful Women and one of Billboard’s Branding Power Players. She regularly speaks at industry events, including TEDx and AdWorld. In December 2024, she co-founded Bookclub Proibito with Shara Ense, bringing people together in Milan through books, shared experiences and literary retreats. The community regularly collaborates with brands and publishers, including Feltrinelli and Mondadori, and has been featured on national press such as Il Sole 24 Ore and on Radio Popolare and R101.
